All sisters and charge nurses are invited to the glittering biennial Dinner and Ball. Sparkling wine reception, meal with wine, raffle with great prizes, and a late disco - all for a fiver! At least 500 sisters and charge nurses attend the ball, which is usually held at the Brewery in Chiswell Street; so do senior Trust executives, who take this chance to thank our nurses personally for their invaluable work.
